Since 1990, Talavera Homes, Inc. has been providing high-quality residential construction services throughout Tucson and the surrounding areas. We specialize in the design and construction of fully custom homes, working alongside our clients to develop the perfect home layout for their lifestyle, location, and budget.
Every Talavera Home is unique in its design. Rather than working from generic templates, we consider the building site, surrounding views, and specific client needs to create a truly custom home that is a one-of-a-kind original. We work in a variety of styles including Mediterranean, Modern, and Southwest Contemporary.
As Sonoran Desert natives, we have a sensitive awareness of our desert landscape and are committed to preserving natural vegetation. Each home is constructed with minimum disturbance to existing site conditions. When possible, our aim is to use Arizona’s beautiful mountain and city views as home decor, utilizing large windows and patios to capture and incorporate the surrounding scenery.

Management & Organization
Jorge M. Talavera
President & General Manager
Jorge is a former civil engineering designer with twenty years of experience in land development for commercial projects, master-planned communities, and multi-family residential complexes. The knowledge he gained across the various aspects of development – infrastructure feasibility, hydrology, construction bidding, improvement planning, and so on – combined with his passion for residential architecture and led to a site-specific approach to custom home design and construction.
As President of Talavera Homes for 30 years, Jorge works closely with our clients in site selection and design. He then personally oversees the construction process of each project, from initial groundbreaking to a complete custom home.
A former University of Arizona Soccer player, when Jorge isn’t working on a new design he enjoys watching MLS and FIFA matches, as well as playing the conga drums and sampling new tequilas with friends.
Linda E. Talavera
Business Manager
Formerly an Assistant Vice President and Manager for Wells Fargo Bank, Linda brings 24 years of financial and customer relations experience to our team of professionals. Linda has served as Business Manager for Talavera Homes since 1997 where she manages the company’s financials and administers all construction contracts with sub-contractors, vendors and suppliers. As our point of contact for customer service matters, Linda prides herself on the strong relationships she has built and maintains with our clients.
Additionally, Linda is a licensed realtor with a strong understanding of current housing market activity in Southern Arizona. Her keen eye for design and interior decorating trends provides guidance on the styling and amenities of our custom home and remodel projects.
Through Linda, Talavera Homes is represented at community functions supporting a variety of charitable causes. She has been active in community outreach programs through the Volunteer Center of Tucson and Linda’s community involvement continues through present day. Through her efforts, Talavera Homes is a consistent supporter of continuing education scholarship programs throughout Southern Arizona.
Aside from realty and volunteering, Linda enjoys hosting family and friends for get-togethers, salsa dancing, and spending time with her granddaughters.
Alex Talavera
Project Coordinator
Alex Talavera joins Talavera Homes as our Project Coordinator, supervising the construction process, managing schedules, and overseeing project budgets. Alex has a background in data and systems administration, working with non-profit groups to maintain data and process integrity.
In addition to his administrative duties, Alex often works on-site at projects, managing subcontractors and vendors to ensure smooth transitions between construction phases.
When he isn’t building houses or organizing spreadsheets, Alex enjoys cooking for his family, hiking the Arizona mountains, and traveling to visit family and friends throughout the country.
